First of all before trying any of recommendations, you need to know where you are at now and what is your current BMI (Body Mass Index) in order to set your targets and track your progress. You can find out your BMI by applying one of these formulas:
1) BMI = (Weight (pounds) / Height (inches) * Height (inches)) * 703
2) BMI = Weight (kg) / Height (meters) * Height (meters)</div>
Below is a table explaining your Body Mass Index
BMI = Explanation
Below 18.5 = Underweight
18.5 – 24.9 = Normal weight
25.0 – 29.9 = Overweight
30.0 and Above = Obese
Interesting fact: To lose a pound of fat, you need to burn approximately 3500 calories above what you burn on average during daily activities. That sounds like a lot of calories and you certainly wouldn’t want to try to burn 3500 calories in one day. However, by following our advices, you can determine just what you need to do each day to burn or cut out those extra calories and lose weight!
